The Art Gallery of New South Wales is one of the iconic Australian flagship art museums along with remaining the state leading visual arts institution. 

Their philosophy is to champion artists and serve the widest possible audience as a centre of excellence for the collection, preservation, documentation, interpretation and display of Australian and international art. With their vision to be a beacon for art in Australia, reflecting and exploring perspectives from our place in the world. In 2021 the Art Gallery of NSW celebrated their 150th anniversary and with that completed its significant expansions through the Sydney Modern Project. This includes a transformation of the Art Gallery created a new art museum campus across two buildings connected by a public art garden. 

 They currently have a plethora of different exhibitions and galleries ranging from the iconic Australian Artist Brett Whitely, “Eternity is now” to ARTEXPRESS 2023, Dreamhome, “Stories of Art and shelter” along with plenty more staggered across the campus. There truly is something for everyone at the Art Gallery of NSW and it’s a wonderfully captivating experience that is unforgettable.
